Super Scientists Term Four.
Congratulations to Shantai and Alyssa for being selected as the Room 26 Representatives in the Year Six final. Shantai's experiment was eliminating reflection from and refraction by a glass object. She made a test tube disappear in vegetable oil. Alyssa conducted a rainbow sugar water density experiment.

Solar Boats.
We have begun the process of designing and construction our solar boats. We are at the stage of drawing our cutting plans onto the foam, cutting the foam with a hand saw and them sanding the boat with sand paper to make it as aerodynamic as possible. Once the construction process is finished, we will be racing them off against each other.

CITIZENSHIP PORTFOLIO
Citizenship Portfolios should be nearly finished. Over the
school holidays is a great opportunity to just finalise a few pages and make
sure all your information has been printed off. Don't forget colour printing
needs to be done at home. Some students may need help to finish the community
section of the portfolio, particularly the project about helping in the
