Senior Assembly.

Congratulations to Kane, Melissa, Makayla, and Eli for receiving a Merit Award. Kaity received her Literacy Pro Gold Award.


Winter Interschool Carnival 2019.

Wattle Grove competed in the Darling Range Learning Community Winter Carnival . The Netball teams tried their best all day. Thank you to Mrs Oliver, Mrs Lowther, Miss Beard and Miss Sherlock for coaching the teams. Thank you to Mrs Forrest and Mrs Innes for organising the lunches for the netball carnival. Thank you to Mrs Oliver for coordinating the Netball carnival.

The AFL team were crowned champions. We would like to thank the Forrestfield Football Club for hosting the day and organising the lunches for the soccer and the AFL. Thank you to Mr Cannon and Mr Godfrey for coaching the team and assisting in the scoring.

The Soccer Carnival was held at Hartfield Park. Thank you to Mr Sanderson for running the carnival. We appreciated Mr Meachem and Ms Balogh coaching the teams. Both Soccer teams were crowned champions. 

We would like to thank all of the schools who participated in the carnival and the Darling Range students who umpired all of the three sports. Thank you to the parents who came down and supported the students.

















NAIDOC Week Activities.

During Week Two, Wattle Grove celebrated NAIDOC Week. We held a special assembly, with the school singing a special song in the Noongar language. George and Sienna were chosen to help construct a Tucker Bush Garden. In class, we created a storyboard on a Dreamtime story. With our buddy class, Room One, we completed some dot paintings and read to our buddies. The Student Representatives from Term Two held a Creation Coin Train and raised over $300.

Congratulations to Zakk, Rebecca, Kane, Sanj, Summer, Kaity and Alvin on being elected as Student Representatives for Term Three. We look forward to working with you during the term. 



Principal’s Challenge Term Two 2019.

Congratulations to Room 11 for winning the Principal’s Challenge for Term Two. We would like to congratulate Sanj,Sienna and Jai for making the Top Ten.
